This itinerary typically includes stops in Nassau, Bahamas, and Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas. Our cruise in particular was a 3-night Bahamas cruise.

They had all the fixings, including specialty cocktails and tailgating treats like nachos, wings, sliders, and popcorn! Some of the highlights of the ship include:

What's Missing from the Ship
While the Allure of the Seas is a fantastic ship, there are a few things that some passengers may miss. For example, the ship doesn't have a traditional promenade deck for walking or jogging, and some of the cabins can be on the smaller side. Additionally, the ship's size can make it feel crowded at times, especially during peak hours.
Also, a lot of the amenities we have come to know with cruising on an Oasis class ship like water slides, dry slides, and several restaurants. It felt like we went back in time because the ship was missing several fan favorites. This ship is about to undergo a 58 day dry dock in 2025 to get a much needed update. It was not able to do its original dry dock in 2022 due to the pandemic. So, we can’t wait to see the upgrades.
