But before you book your trip, here's everything you need to know about this impressive ship, its highlights, and a few things it could improve on.
Ship Overview: Sleek, Modern, and Massive
Itinerary: Sun-Soaked Caribbean Adventure
The MSC Seascape itinerary that we were on departed from Miami is perfect for travelers seeking a balance of relaxation, culture, and adventure. Here's a breakdown of the ports we visited on this 7-night cruise:
Ocean Cay Marine Reserve, Bahamas – The cruise’s first stop is MSC’s private island, Ocean Cay. This eco-friendly marine reserve offers pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and a laid-back vibe. Whether you want to snorkel, sunbathe, or indulge in a beachfront massage, this is your tropical paradise. Don’t miss the lighthouse, where a nighttime light show makes for an Instagram-worthy moment.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica – Next up is Ocho Rios, where you can experience the laid-back Jamaican lifestyle. From climbing Dunn’s River Falls to relaxing on the beautiful beaches or exploring Mystic Mountain via a thrilling bobsled ride, Ocho Rios offers something for every type of traveler. The local cuisine, featuring jerk chicken and fresh seafood, is an absolute must. This day we hung out at the Margaritaville. It is a quick walk from the cruise port and has great beach access.
George Town, Cayman Islands – This stop is all about luxury and adventure. George Town is known for its upscale shopping, stunning Seven Mile Beach, and exceptional snorkeling. A must-do here is a visit to Stingray City, where you can swim with the friendly stingrays in shallow waters—a bucket-list experience. For us, this was a rainy day, so we just stopped for some lunch at a local restaurant.
Cozumel, Mexico – Cozumel offers a taste of Mexican culture with a side of natural beauty. Whether you're exploring ancient Mayan ruins, scuba diving in some of the world's clearest waters, or shopping for local crafts, Cozumel offers a perfect balance of history and leisure. On our visit, we decided to do something out of the ordinary for us and we went to Mr. Sanchos Beach Club! A time was had with parasailing, jet-skis, and good food.
After all that adventure, you'll have a couple of sea days to enjoy everything MSC Seascape has to offer before returning to Miami, refreshed and recharged.

While MSC Seascape offers a ton of features, there are a few areas where the ship could improve:
Main Takeaways from the Trip
However, if you're someone who enjoys quieter, more intimate spaces, the sheer size of the ship and its passenger count might feel overwhelming at times. While the Yacht Club offers a more exclusive experience, the general areas can get quite busy, especially on sea days.
Final Verdict: Is MSC Seascape for You?
MSC Seascape is perfect for cruisers looking for a modern, feature-packed ship with a lively atmosphere. It’s ideal for families, couples, and groups of friends who enjoy a variety of onboard activities and don’t mind a little hustle and bustle.
